We love the dramatic statement this rug makes; it reminds us of a beachy landscape, seen from the window of an airplane.

The rug is just as beautiful as its pictures. The rug is both soft and feels durable and the underside is very neat. I am using it with a rug pad for extra cushion and it works great even with a bit thicker of a pad. The rug is 100% wool so it sheds quite a bit at first, but I totally expected this having had all wool rugs in almost every room of my home for decades. I love this rug. I have been in the process of converting my son's old room into a guestroom/den/dressing room. I had already lined one wall with bookshelves and ordered a beige faux leather sofa bed from Wayfair. I had made a plaid silk comforter in shades of tan and pale teal green to throw on the sofa bed. An exotic hardwood coffee table was on its way from Wayfair. All that was needed was an appropriate area rug to tie this corner of the room together. Voila! This rug is perfect. The colors work well enough with the comforter to look cohesive, and yet are dynamic enough to lend excitement to this corner of the room (the other end has a simple sisal rug). The rich colours in this rug are just as gorgeous in person as the website photos imply but it is darker than expected. We are very happy with the hand-feel of the rug to touch, its softness underfoot, and how easily it unwrapped and lay flat. It had a few elevated warped areas when we first laid it out but we read to re-roll it opposite to how it arrived and leave it for a day and that helped. Then we unrolled it and allowed the fibers to naturally relax and two days later the warp is nearly gone so we expect in another day or two it will be perfectly flat.
