We bought this addition for our ferrets house HOPING it was the right one to fit. It fit like a glove. Our ONLY complaint is that the front panel had the brackets (to attach it to our existing cage) welded on the top, so we had to install it upside down to make it work. The door swings on the left, not the right, which is backwards, but it works. We just turned the latching hardware around to make it lock "right". Thankfully we are handy enough to figure that out.. Love the carrier. It was a bit challenging to put together but I did watch the video beforehand on bird tricks and it was partially assembled already which was helpful. Just make sure the zippers are lined up and inserted properly before trying to zipper. It’s a secure backpack that can withstand the chewing of medium parrots that you may not feel secure taking them out in other packs. This is exactly what I needed. Two men put it together for me and it went together quickly. We are very to have a play area for our dog, a great space to work on training too since we live in the woods and fencing would be cost prohibitive. I love the cover since we live in the Pacific Northwest and rain is often in the forecast. We opted to put artificial grass down to prevent a muddy mess. The reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the entire kennel once assembled is actually light, the three of us could lift it easily to move it. The framework is seems sturdy but my helper’s recognized right away that with the winds where I live once the canopy is on it could, and probably would, become airborne, the pegs that come with it may be sufficient for some places but not here. They came up with a solution of 4 large landscaping boulders wired to the frame so it looks good and can still be hosed or blown out easily. I am hopeful that this will give us years of fun..
