This is the perfect 9x12 rug for our family room! I bought a different cheaper rug initially, and there is a sizeable difference in the quality. This one is much thicker, denser, and has a perfect pattern for hiding stains or spills. That said, I wouldn't pay full price for the rug. We got it on sale and I feel like it's well worth it. Well, this is sort of funny. I wanted to replace two runners in our master bedroom that would be the same colors as what I have had for about five years. I was worried the gold wouldn't go well or be too much, yet the gold is subtle and picked up the tone of the coffee table and went well with the orange accents. Purchased in two sizes for two rooms. FYI: previous rug was a shag in the living room was 5 x 7, ended up putting the 5 x7 in the den replacing a 6 x 4, and ordered the 6.7 x 9.6 for the living room because the 5 x 7 looked too small replacing the shag... i believe the shag gave off a larger look.
