There were a few hairline cracks in the large pieces of Flexstone but the contractor thinks he can work around those. The glue was a total loss but we purchased some locally for our project.(A piece of cardboard at the tips would have saved the glue)the top of the box was smashed. Steamspa / SWCorp does not service their products. When something goes wrong you have to open up the unit and troubleshoot yourself or pay a contractor to do it. Mine worked for about six months then stopped producing steam. Warranty covers almost nothing. It doesn't cover "parts", so I'm not sure what it covers. Customer service offered to sell me a new one at a 20% discount or buy new heating elements and drain valve since the tank is not draining. None of this is covered under warranty. Very happy with this ceiling medallion. The light fixture I had originally ordered for the room felt too small and this gave it the dimension in the room that was missing. Pretty simple to install. We just used small finishing nails to secure it as flat as we could to the ceiling. Then caulked around the edge. We did not end up painting it because our ceiling was already white.. Nicole.
