This product imparts a greater gloss than Marmoleum has out of the box. I'd call it satin. We like the shine. Since it is a Forbo product it should be the most compatible treatment available. The instructions say it both cleans and shines though it makes sense to thoroughly sweep then clean the floor with mild detergent and water or the Forbo cleaner first. I love this loveseat sofa! It's easy to clean, very comfortable to sit on, and it's a great color. I put this together myself, but really struggled due to my disability. So it's a definite 2 person job to put together, because it is super heavy to lift.
