Very pretty. Instructions were clear, but I also put together a lot of furniture. Easy to follow if you know what you’re doing. Took a couple hours, but the longest part was trying to get the doors completely even after they were installed. I see a lot of other people say that theirs are not even, but the hinges are designed to be movable up and down, in and out, etc.. This is real wood. It has a light stain and no varnish, so it has that rustic farmhouse feel to it. The drawers don’t have tracks so they wobble when you pull them in and out, but I don’t plan to use them much. Perfect size for behind my couch. The assembly was a bit tricky. They provide self-tapping screws so there are no pilot holes. That means you have to line the pieces up perfectly while screwing in teh screw. Sometimes there is also a dowel in a predrilled hole making it easy to keep the wood in place while you get the screw in. Other times - esp the drawers - you have to hold the two pieces of wood carefully while you press hard to get the screw started. Also, some sections of the wood are softer and easy to get a screw through. Others are a bit harder. Other than assembly, I have no complaints. It’s a sturdy little table for the price.. Rachel. This is a lovely piece to compliment an empty wall space. However, there are a few things we were a little disappointed with. The instructions say it's easy to put together, and should be done in an hour. Maybe for the professionals. For my husband, and I (yes you do need 2 people to assemble), it took over two hours. The instructions are all in pictures, and no words so while it was easy to figure out what went where, we still had to double check we were using the correct amount of hardware for each piece. We assumed it was only for pieces to put together. Not the case- it's more than 4, less than 20. Also usually furniture comes with 'caps' to lay over the screws so it looks finished. There were no 'caps' included. So while the end product is quite lovely, we will be very careful if we order again since we do not want to have to put anything together. The lower shelf is perfect to add smaller bonsais or a nice wicker storage basket. I loved it so much I bought a second one. They both arrived quickly and were delivered safely, with no damage. Gorgeous. Perfect size. Holds a lot. The shelves inside are adjustable in height. The cabinet doors are the soft closing mechanism. It was simple to put together. I did it myself in about an hour. It doesn’t take up too much space to make the room feel cluttered but it’s big enough to be an eye catching piece of furniture.
