I bought this not as a tent for a dog, but, as a cover to prevent damage to my portable generator, when using during bad weather. I haven't actually used it during a weather incident, as of yet. I did set it up and ran the generator inside of it, to make sure the generator's CO detector didn't trigger and shut it down. It passed that test perfectly, and, judging by how it looks, I'm pretty sure it'll work fine during rain or snow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I decided to paint this cat cage the same color as my house and detached garage. It is so cute. I’m so happy with how it turned out aesthetically and the cats really love it too.
