Wow! I’ve been dying to see these walls for about 5 weeks. They were delivered right after Thanksgiving for our bathroom remodel, and they took up a LOT of garage space since then. The packaging was larger than the 5x8 ft wall size by at least 6” in every direction. There was some damage to the cardboard one one edge, but there was no damage to the product. Unfortunately the delivery drivers placed the package upside down, so I couldn’t even glance at the marble effect. I was afraid to try to flip it to look at it. I was worried that it might look tacky, the way some “marble” products have busy pattern repeats or weird colors (like the “marble” shower base we returned that was “marbled” with purple and brown streaks.). But I did not need to worry! These wall panels are fantastic! The marble effect is very subtle and natural looking. We made sure we had room to store them flat until our contractor could install them, which finally happened today! They have a matte, lightly textured feel that is similar to tile, but no grout lines to scrub!. The crew commented many times how luxe it all looks. My contractor will caulk it on Friday when he installs the new toilet and vanity, and then we can try it out on Sunday! I looked at every possible wall material before settling on these. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

I love this tower! Moved laundry to the first floor from the basement in a 100yo home. They nicely fit into a closet and are quiet and very efficient. Only 2 tbs of detergent needed, if you use too much you’ll get a notification for the app. Oh that’s great too, the app also alerts you when the washer and dryer are done or if there are any problems. Make sure they are properly installed, the dryer needs to have drainage. The guy who installed mine hadn’t installed an electric heat pump dryer yet and didn’t realize which led to a build up of water in the washer pan and the clothes would be damp. I purchased the LG LDTS5552S dishwasher and have experienced a persistent chemical odor since the beginning of ownership. The smell is difficult to describe precisely, but it resembles heated rubber, vinyl, petroleum products, or synthetic plastic. The odor becomes stronger as the dishwasher heats up and appears to be emitted from the lower vent area. The problem occurs even during normal operation without using the High Temp or Extra Dry settings. Over the past year I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps, including cleaning the filters repeatedly, running cycles without detergent, using dishwasher cleaning cycles, and removing additional plastic accessories from inside the machine. None of these actions resolved the issue. The dishes themselves do not retain the odor, but the heated air emitted by the dishwasher does. The smell is strong enough to travel beyond the kitchen and can sometimes be noticed on the second floor of the house. After more than a year of trying to live with this issue, I have stopped using the dishwasher altogether and returned to washing dishes by hand because I am not comfortable having my family continuously exposed to the odor. What concerns me most is that this odor appears whenever the appliance is heated, suggesting that materials inside the unit may be releasing volatile compounds into the air. I do not know whether LG has evaluated the long-term impact of breathing these emissions during routine daily use, but I believe this is a legitimate concern that deserves attention. I am disappointed because otherwise the dishwasher performs well. If LG is aware of this issue or has a solution, I would genuinely appreciate a response. I've had this unit for a year now and can attest to its reliability and performance. My condo has a small laundry closet and this is the only front-loading LG model that would fit. It is quiet and most of my laundry comes out clean and ready for the dryer. I find that the dryer actually works comparably to a vented dryer and it is easier on my clothes. My condo association discourages ventless dryers because of its prior experiences with water damage from leaks into other units which are not as much of an issue with the newer ventless technology. I love that I don't have to worry about pulling the unit out of the closet to periodically clean the dryer vent. My only issue is that sometimes laundry will come out with dry streaks indicating that the wash cycle was somehow not fully soaked the garments, even when stacked in the drum according to the manual.
