The Forno di Siena oven uses genuine firebrick on the interior of the dome along with 3" of fiberglass insulation between the brick and stainless steel outer dome. The brick interior allows the oven to achieve a higher temperature more quickly and maintain an even cooking temperature for a longer time, and the added fiberglass insulation prevents the outer dome from becoming dangerously hot during use. The exterior of the oven is constructed of high-grade stainless steel with a powder-coated outer dome.

It's a big beautiful oven - makes a wonderful addition to outdoor kitchen - WARNING - it takes either a rented hoist (see photos) or 4 really strong people who can clean-lift over 150 pounds, to get the oven off of the cart on the pallet, and then again up onto the cart to place the oven. Do not attempt on your own - oven and cart weigh 649 lbs. the lift handles assume you have 4 people who can lift 150 lbs over their waist. If you can pay someone to set up - do so! Wow- the new rustic brick Lisboa is beautiful and different from the other authentic dome pizza ovens! This oven is also the biggest (and worst) of all the ovens. This oven makes a statement! The rustic is also rotisserie capable. The Lisboa has a higher opening than the Pizzaioli, Brazza, and Buena Ventura models, which allows room to fit a spit. It also gives off a strong ambiance as the fire is much more visible, almost like a fire feature or fire pit! The door of this oven is square-shaped and is perfect for pizzas, casseroles, bread, and mouth-watering rotisseries. All of our authentic pizza ovens are handmade in Portugal and are triple-insulated, which means the outside of the oven is cool to the touch while the inside is blazing hot! Each oven has an inner layer of brick and mortar, which is then covered with refractory cement. A thick layer of rock-wool insulation is then applied and held down with metal batting before an additional layer of refractory cement.
