It is not completely smoothed out and I need to figure out how to get the corners to stay down without using adhesive strips. I saw something about rug anchors so maybe I will find some of those. Very pretty rug! The overall look of the rug is neutral while also adding a subtle touch of grayish teal. (In pictures it shows as gray, but there is a definitely some blue/green to it.)
