It lays fairly flat, but you’ll definitely want a rug pad or some heavier furniture on it to keep it from sliding around. I'm madly in love with this rug! It's so richly colorful and bright! It makes the whole room cheerful and warm- full of character! It's exactly what we needed for this indoor-outdoor veranda space. The colors are gorgeous- so lush, so rich! It's very soft underfoot as well. It arrived quickly and was well packaged- as we've come to expect from excellent Wayfair service.
