Inspired by our jaunts overseas where oil drums in varying stages of deterioration greeted us at every turn, we created our replicas of the discs carved from the tops (or bottoms) as edgy decorative elements. Though the patina we achieved a finish that may convince you that these are made of metal, the cast oil drum wall discs, which are packaged as 4 pieces, are made of composite that our artisans made to look jagged like real aging metal would. This circular wall art is the perfect representation of the Phillips Collection ethos: modern organic. Cast in resin from a rusted oil drum, each 4 pieces will be the same in size, style, and color. Smaller than I wanted it will not hold the towels side by side. If your plug is behind the rack there is not enough room for the towels to hang and its a fight to get them on the rack. Also the rack does not heat as well the only area that heats is where the towel is laying across the bar not just touching it. This peel-and-stick tile backsplash is sticky so make sure you have them lined up before you touch the wall. The tile is a thicker version.
