Ive placed these lights on the exterior of my houseboat. They are 50 feet long with lots of space between lights. Because of the angle of the dual lights it illuminates quite a wide space. This LED strip light has an adhesive on the back which allows you to easily install the lights. You can cut them to size but be sure you don’t cut away from the electrical source. The colors are beautiful. I noticed when dimming them, they make a buzz, and the control board attached to the lights gets a bit hot when you plug it in. I tried to pair with my Genie App and no luck. You can use an adapter to connect to a smart plug and pair with the Genie App. I downloaded the LED strip light app and there are bugs in it. For example, when you press one of the common colors, red will turn green, pink will turn blue…..The DIY lets you choose up to 8 colors for gradient or jump.
