My husband and I used a furniture dolly (rolling platform) to move it into our bathroom, and it went very well. It helped that the 29” width fit through our 30” doorways. Of course, there is no overflow drain, so if that is a concern, do not order this tub. But I am extremely pleased with the tub so far! Im excited to post a photo of the project once it is complete. Update We installed the tub, and I’m extremely pleased with the way it turned out! The install was tricky for my husband and I to maneuver, as we didn’t hire an outside contractors. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. I just changed the bulbs to the T10 LED variety, and WOW ... WHAT BRILLIANCE!! So, it isn't always the design of the fixture, but rather the bulb application that can make a world of difference. We’re in the start of a much needed full bath remodel and one of our wish list items is a smart toilet after experiencing one on vacation. We have not yet installed this one but wanted to get it unpacked and give it some “test sits” since the shape is somewhat different than your typical elongated toilet. The seat feels slightly different in width but the more noticeable difference being the length of the opening in th seat. From front to back it’s 2” shorter. In fact the overall depth is 2” shorter which will be nice in our small bathroom. We want to do some more dry runs comparing the fell of this shorter style before we commit to installing it. The look is very nice and the toilet is pretty heavy. The finishes are smooth and high end in appearance. Arrived quickly, no visible damage to box or item- it was packaged securely and very nicely. It is good quality definitely would recommend a plumber to install with the additional functioning components that it has would certainly recommend a plumber. If you have not installed a toilet I wouldn’t recommend that this be the first one that you try overall love the quality love the luck really glad that I got it and I would highly recommend it to others.
