I prefer this to a Pet Door because of the Remote option. She did not like pushing through the pet door that I first installed, and this was a great solution at a reasonable price. I also bought a Pressure Sensitive Mat that Chimes when she is inside and approaches the door so that I know when she wants to go out. Looks well made and sturdy. Now I don't think robot vacuums will always be 100% perfect but this is pretty good, I think it's quiet, I can use my phone to navigate, pick a room and it'll go there ,mop or vacuum. When max is on hardwood mopping and senses rug, his mop pads lift up and go onto carpet, it senses stairs and has mapped my entire upstairs, it reads the room pretty good and gets all that dust and hairs that blow around every day using his swing out spinning arm grabbing anything in its path, he doesn't like to eat cords, so you might want to move them out of way or he'll get tangled. You can use app to x out that spot were cords are, the mop solution smells so good, battery lasts a while, when he needs to refill he heads back into his machine, refill and empties on his own, i love using him every day. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. The first one was the wrong size. The second came with Bullitt proof glass shattered. The third arrived in good shape. The tape materials ,The peace that goes between the door and window doesn't stick. Fixed it with strapping tape. the other tape materials that go between the pet door and the slider peals, but not between the cotton and the sticky material, but in the cotton. Arrived quickly, no visible damage to box or item- it was packaged securely and very nicely. It is good quality definitely would recommend a plumber to install with the additional functioning components that it has would certainly recommend a plumber.
