Kudos to Panasonic on the quality and longevity of the unit that we replaced!! As to the new unit, we are very pleased. Well-built and cooks well. A big plus for us is that the unit is just under 24" wide (most other brands are slightly wider). Since we have a 24" wide alcove the oven sits in, perfect. I would tend to agree with the other reviewer who commented on the interior light being somewhat dim - maybe a 2nd light on the other side of the oven might have been nice. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was.
