Bought this unit as a (very comparable) replacement for a Panasonic NN-T994SF that was purchased in January of 2005. Yes, after 21 yrs of constant use, that old unit finally gave out. Kudos to Panasonic on the quality and longevity of the unit that we replaced!! As to the new unit, we are very pleased. Well-built and cooks well. A big plus for us is that the unit is just under 24" wide (most other brands are slightly wider). Since we have a 24" wide alcove the oven sits in, perfect. I would tend to agree with the other reviewer who commented on the interior light being somewhat dim - maybe a 2nd light on the other side of the oven might have been nice. This oven looks really nice & cooks extremely well! I use Convection Mode mostly & it automatically reduces temperature which is nice. Bake Mode is what I use for desserts, breads & so far I’m happy with that. I have used the air fryer & comes with a basket. Improvements: menu panel is VERY hard to see in the evening- the print is too light. This really needs to be backlit, imo. (The LCD display that shows temp, etc is very bright so I’m not sure why the menu display is so dull) Also it’s missing add a minute button, when you want to add more time to cooking. The oven light goes off after 1 minute, which makes no sense if you want to check on your food while cooking. The oven comes with a fry basket so it makes the food crispy on all sides without the need to flip over halfway through the cooking process. It’s so easy to clean too. I think this is a well designed and manufactured air filter. I intended to use this in my bedroom to help filter the air in the house. However, I quickly realized that the display brightness is higher even on the “dark” mode.
