Bought this unit as a (very comparable) replacement for a Panasonic NN-T994SF that was purchased in January of 2005. Yes, after 21 yrs of constant use, that old unit finally gave out. Kudos to Panasonic on the quality and longevity of the unit that we replaced!! As to the new unit, we are very pleased. Well-built and cooks well. A big plus for us is that the unit is just under 24" wide (most other brands are slightly wider). Since we have a 24" wide alcove the oven sits in, perfect. I would tend to agree with the other reviewer who commented on the interior light being somewhat dim - maybe a 2nd light on the other side of the oven might have been nice. Bought this ceiling fan for my parents to replace an older ceiling fan that provided very little light. I primarily wanted to solve the lighting issue in a room that had dim areas that needed more light but still wanted a fan to move air. Their room only had one ceiling junction box to mount anything to so this seemed like a good solution to address both functions.
