The parcel locker is a good size. I placed it behind the column in front of my house. The lock, however, is poorly placed. It is 34 of the way down near the bottom. We had to place the locker on 4 upturned cinder blocks to raise it high enough to make out the combination on the lock without practically standing on your head. The lock itself is very hard to read. It really is too small for the size of the unit and the numbers are very tiny and silver just like the dial so they are very hard to see. The combination was easy to change. Great purchase for keeping the yard organized. Assembly was super simple- parts of the box frame just snap together to make the base/ frame, and you really only need to screw in the reinforcements, hinges and hardware. It took a little balancing/rearranging to get the bottom + four sides all attached at once but was able to do with just one person. Comes with metal supports for the long sides & top, so its sturdy enough, but just know that the sides are more flexible than sturdy. Hydraulic hinges were a beeze to install. For the price point, its a good buy and it should last a few seasons. It seems to be waterproof-ish by default - the top lays flat on the box body but it does not have any kind of overlap or fitted close mechanism that would keep out water, other than being a flat lid on top of a rectangle..
