Well…..? I’m using decanter for alcohol in a restroom. The plastic wrap on the lid was too large to comfortably close, so a difficult journey to cut the plastic off without damaging the glass with sharp objects. Of course, the results were a sloppy fit, but for appearances, sits fine on top. Otherwise, in good shape. As for use as a whiskey decanter, I’d guess, it would be a little small?
