It takes about 40-45 minutes to cool (0.08 gal each time, the cooling temperature is 46-59℉). Please do not put cold water in the cooling process, otherwise, the cooling time will be prolonged. After the cooling is over, the yellow light goes off, the fan stops running, and the cold water can be discharged.

Cooler is great, but their packaging sucks. 1st one showed up from FEDEX dented on the door and hinge was broken, making it unusable. Wayfair was awesome and immediately sent me a new one, which showed up with dents in the exact same places!! However, this one is still usable, so I am just dealing with it. I have been using these filters for the last 7 years. I live in LA and the facet water isn’t the best to drink. These filters make a healthy water that taste good. Bought this cooler about 2 months ago and so far, it has been great. I did not need to carry heavy bottles anymore and wait for the delivery.
