These solar lights are beautiful but I have tried and tried to remove the plastic cover off the solar panel area on one of them. I even read that I could use warm water and that did not work. I also read you can warm it up with a blow dryer and that did not work. I am being extra careful to not damage the surface. Installed the system relatively easy. Had to go to a plumbing store to buy different parts to connect to my beverage faucet that was not a Kohler faucet. The only thing that was inconsistent was the picture on the site shows a brass T fitting and the unit comes with a plastic T fitting. This is somewhat deceiving for the price you pay for the unit.
