This dehumidifier keeps my 700 sq foot apartment humidity levels below 50% -- if not on, the humidity climbs to the high 70s! It's not very loud--just a little white noise in the background that doesn't interfere with TV, music, conversations, etc. I do have to empty the tank every day (sometimes 2x), but it's easy to take out and dump in my sink so not a problem. My previous dehumidifier was the smaller version and ran continuously for almost a year, but then stopped working. I was refunded the amount I paid for that one, and in turn bought this one. Very pretty. The color of the vanity is very pretty. Took about an hr to put one box together and it came in two boxes. The instructions on how to put it together was not very clear. You can see in my picture the brackets need to go under neath to hold things in place. But no where on the instruction does it tell you where to put these brackets. But we figured it out. This is a superior dehumidifier. We turned our basement into a family room with a bedroom and full bath. We cleaned out a closet and discovered guns stored there were rusting.
