This tree has great fullness and quality. It was easy to setup while the branches took awhile to pull down and separate as with any artificial tree. My only two negatives would be the changing of the light color and star plugin. The speed of the light change and blinking starts at fast and continues to get faster with each level. It's like a rave in the house. The kids love it but my husband and I had hoped there would be a more subtle level. For the star plugin - it's not a standard plug. I believe it's referred to as a low voltage. We need to buy an adapted to plug it into our star. That specification would have been appreciated in the description to prepare. The idea behind this is brilliant. I just wasn't so sure about the dimensions provided to order the correct item for my lights - and I didn't. The outside width is 5" and the inside clips to hold inside the recessed can are 4." If this lasts less than the 50,000 hours advertised, I would be hesitant as throwing away a single light bulb seems environmentally preferable to throwing away this entire apparatus. One star deducted for lack of adequate dimensions in the listing. I didn't get to try the various settings because, alas, my smallest can light is actually 6 inches, so I'll have to try the appropriate size.
