Pricey but worth it! I searched and searched for flatware NOT MADE IN CHINA! It was very difficult! Most familiar names (and those that used to be associated with quality) are not made in America anymore. For example: Reed and Barton, Onida, Lenox, Micasa, Kate Spade. The quality of these aforementioned brands has decreased dramatically. I would have loved to buy American: yet, I only found one company aptly named Liberty. This silverware is AMAZING. It feels and looks so luxurious to use. Nicest set I've ever owned. It has some weight to it, if that makes sense. Some heft. And it is beautiful on the table. It polishes up nicely and is clearly well-made. I feel like it will last for years. My cheaper utensils, specifically spoons have developed nicks and burrs. These are substantially made. I wish the packaging was nicer, because I was going to gift this set. The packaging is NOT gift worthy, to say the least. However, the product itself is 10 stars.
