Based upon other reviews I expected to like the set, but I've been beaming since I opened the box as the color is just...spot...on. I've only put two chairs together but wanted to share a pic lest I forget later. I don't know if this is solid teak or a laminate (seems solid), but it's a rich color you'd expect to see in a tiki bar, which is what I'm going for. I do see inconsistencies in the finish that might ultimately lead to some of the negativity that I read in some reviews.
