I love this pergola! I had been debating one for years and finally found one with all the features I wanted. We dont have any trees so theres no natural covering, and the backyard gets blasted with sun during the day. This pergola is perfect for manually adjusting the 4 different sections of louvers for the amount of sun wanted. We havent used the curtains or netting yet but I love having the option when needed. We paid for assembly which occurred over 3 days and 3 different crews. Caution- I dont recommend using the included anchors for anchoring to your base, unless your base is absolutely perfectly level. Our base is brick pavers so those anchors didnt work. They had to use tapcons (concrete screws). The pergola has been a perfect addition to our backyard!. Diane. Sterling Heights, MI. It’s a lot of parts and hours of work to assemble, need multiple people to complete. It’s not exactly 12x16, more like 11x15. It will look really good when I get to finish assembly. This gazebo is excellent. Assembly took time but as long as you follow all steps everything goes well .My wife and I had to get a couple people to hold things so I could put on the roof trusses.The louvers work great.I even bought a smaller matching gazebo for the bbq area. Don’t forget the step with the glue or it will leak and is a hassle to fix. All good now no leaks at all. Hanging the curtains was a bit of a learning curve to get in the right order. But once you do it’s pretty easy. One zipper started to rip already but we were able to stich it up no problem. Overall this is a great gazebo. This is a great carport. The directions for the canvas part was a bit hard to decipher, but otherwise the directions were pretty good. Unwrapping plastic from each roof panel was a bit of a pain, but if you do it on a sunny day outside, the panels will get warm and the plastic will be easier to remove. We just had 3 or 4 of us at a time unwrapping them. I am optimistic that it will last a long time.
