Much better construction than I expected! Though, there is a small nick on the tabletop near where the butterfly leaf is, but it is barely noticeable. I would also suggest paying attention to the width of this table. I was so focused on length, I didn't pay attention to the width. This one is 5 inches more narrow that our last table. These chairs and table were very well made. It came disassembled but was not all that hard to put together. The table is heavy and sturdy and will last a long time. We have had no issues and it’s been more than a year. Would definitely recommend.
