I bought this as a TV stand for our new living room last year. We have nice big windows and once we assembled it, we realized we didn’t want to block the whole window with a TV. So we decided to mount the TV on the wall and we use this to display these handmaid barns my father made our daughter many years ago. We’ve never had space to display them so they get the honor on this nice piece of furniture. The sliding barn doors hide shelves for storage or display. I am extremely happy with this iron pipe wall mount shelving system. The design is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for—very sturdy, industrial farmhouse style with clean lines that instantly elevates the space. The black iron piping feels heavy-duty and well-made, not flimsy at all, and once mounted properly, it feels very secure and strong. Assembly was straightforward and well worth the effort. All the metal components fit together nicely, and the mounting points lined up perfectly. I appreciate that this system allows flexibility in choosing your own wood shelves, which lets you customize the look to match your home. I used solid wood boards, and the final result looks high-end and custom-built. One very important thing to note (and not a negative—just something buyers should be aware of) the wooden shelves are NOT included. You will need to purchase or cut your own boards separately. This actually ended up being a positive for me because I was able to select the exact wood tone, thickness, and finish I wanted. However, if you’re expecting an all-in-one kit, keep this in mind before ordering. Once installed, the shelves hold a great amount of weight and are perfect for decor, books, plants, and storage. The overall aesthetic is timeless and works beautifully in farmhouse, industrial, or modern spaces. I really love the design of it but I really wish it wouldve been real wood instead of particle board. Thats the only reason that I didnt give it 5 stars. It looks really nice and seems sturdy though. I got it to replace my other TV stand. It has a lot of storage area. Thats a big bonus because my old one didnt have much room for games and gaming consoles. This one has way more. Nice, sturdy shelving unit, it did have a little damage mark from shipping, but I can’t see it after it’s assembled. I really like this unit on the site, but I guess I didn’t realize that there is a two tone look about it.
