This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. We brought this product back in January. I am writing this review end of April. We have used at least once a week. It has done its job. Very lightweight and flexible and easy to handle. Has strong suction power. Very easy to assemble and very quick. It worked out the box for 30 plus minutes then charged for 4.5 hrs minimum. I charged it overnight. Went through the house on my hardwood floors like a breeze to pick up pet hair. Lights be floor in front which is a great plus! Emptying was easy.
