The stand does everything as expected and is very sturdy. We have a larger/bulkier projector. I was worried the tray wouldn't be able to hold its weight, but it seems ok with the fabric band that was provided. The only thing I don't like is that the stand goes up and down, but there's no capability to change the actual angle of the projector/tray. You can only use it flat. With the exception of one assembly step, this was a straightforward one strong person unpacking and assembly. At one point they want you to have the base stood up on its side so that the pillars can be slid through the holes in the bale. I made a support of the shipping boxes to support the then horizontal heavy pillars parallel to the floor while I attached them. ALSO: do the later steps that require you to work at the bottom while the stand is already on its side. The motor runs smoothly but I haven't attached tho 100" screen to it yet—I don't expect that will be a problem.
