I got this screening for privacy from human neighbors and animal neighbors. My dogs are easily riled up by people that cut through the yaranimals that pass through , as well. This gives me a better sense of privacy, while also blocking things from my dogs some, too. Its a fabric of types, so its understandable that it has some give and stretch. I am still just trying to figure out how to work with that, which is difficult and Im hoping will be better with some time upright. I got mine for taller fences than mine, because I also have animals trying to come under the fence, and I thought staking it down to the ground at the bottom might help with that. This beautiful and realistic-looking expandable hedge completely changed the view from my kitchen window! I am so happy that I am buying a second one for my upstairs balcony. For a larger area, this is so much easier than buying small squares separately and attaching them all. That being said, you do need something to attach the zip ties (which are included) around the bamboo backing to hold this up. If you aren't attaching to a railing with supports, and you're attaching to wood, you could use hand screw-in eyes or even open cup hooks to support this. This took me all of 5 minutes, and it felt secure with only 4 zip ties, but I ended up using a few more because they include 10. For my large area, I needed to expand it all the way out, so if you don't need to go this wide, it will look even fuller. This is heavy-duty and looks very realistic with the bamboo branches and different shades of green. There are both curled and flat leaves. Really nice! Expands very easy, and similar in weight compared to my other one (left side in photos). I like that the back is like actual wooden sticks, however one corner is broken in parts. One box of these hedges has 12 in it, and I wound up only using 6 to cover my patios fence. The zip ties that come with it are very cheap, thin, and hard to use. They WILL work, but just like the other reviews say, I also recommend getting your own zip ties separately. The ones in my picture are what I had left after using 612 tiles. The fence in my picture shows how much the tiles will be hiding, my actual patio from the parking lot. I have a purple grow light shelf for my houseplants on the other side so that should give you a good idea of how well they work with a white sheer curtain (also from Wayfair). This is a quality product. Very pleased with the result. It is difficult to attach the pieces together, so I used a bottle opener to push them together. Make sure you line everything up correctly because if you don’t, the whole process gets messed up. I included a pic of what it looks like out of the box (laid on a table), a pic of the bottle opener I used to push the pieces together and a pic of the final result.
