So far, so good! I thought they were folding Adirondacks and clearly they are not, but that’s “on me”! They were easy to assemble, but it would be much easier with a helper…I assembled them by myself. Some of the pieces have to be held awkwardly when inserting the screws and bolts. My only issue was one of the “bolts and screws” packages tore open prior to opening the box, and those items fell everywhere. I luckily found each one, which was a big deal since there were no extras. These vintage style door levers are constructed of diecast and come in a beautiful finish. They feature a heavy weighted casting design and unique Silencer bushings for smooth operation. This set of levers is designed for indoor use only, and it includes one 2-3/4 inch steel spindle, and one 3-5/8 inch steel spindle with 3/8 inch-20 threads. These French style levers fit 1/4 inch square drive spindle systems commonly found in antique and vintage door hardware sets, and with the two (2) provided square spindles, it can adjust to accommodate doors of different thicknesses. The lever shanks include setscrews for fastening to the square spindles. All other components of matching vintage design must be purchased separately to include the internal mortise lock body, the door rosettes, the trim and strike plates, or the latch and fasteners. Note: These levers cannot be used on pre-bored doors that have large, newer style doorknob holes without first prepping them to receive this older-style hardware. Installation tip: Because the fasteners of the rosettes (purchased separately) require a solid surface to mount to, the large 2-1/8 inch (approximate size) holes must first be filled with a hardening filler, to then be able to receive the rosette fasteners. Products like Fix-It-All and Bondo Body Filler have worked well for some, but care must be used to avoid damaging any prefinished door surfaces during application and finishing.

These chairs are awesome! They replaced the traditional wooden Adirondack chairs with many slats. They were wooden and therefore had to be constantly repainted. Mother Nature won out in the end. This chair arrived two days ago, opened up a day later and spent 1 1/2 hours assembling it (quite hot outside) and another 20 minutes finishing it this morning. The reason it took so long was because two of the large bolts were hard to seat all the way and had to be removed and reinserted with a vice grip. However, the chair is now fully assembled and seems very solid. It is obviously large and well designed for a big guy, as I am 6' 2" and weigh 230 lbs. Simply put, I feel very comfortable sitting in this chair in any of the 3 positions! My wife is now designing & making a seat cushion & headrest.
