These shower door bottom guides are constructed of plastic and come clear in color. The channels feature . wide openings that will allow for use with up to 3/16 in. thick frameless glass panels. Use of these glue-in bottom-mount guides will help keep hanging glass panels aligned in their respective tracks. This reinforcement lock is very good quality. It was very easy to install, although I measured wrong the first time and had to move it. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings.
