This is a left-handed diecast casement locking handle with an offset base found on many contemporary casement windows (as viewed for the inside looking out). The mounting holes are positioned offset of the centerline down the base placing them closer to the window frame edge by 13/16 inch from the tip of the lock to the center of the mounting holes. This handle has an attractive finish with mounting holes for the handle assembly and the keeper at 1-1/2 inch apart.

Often found on older style patio doors, it is mounted on the door's inside the frame and the hook latch engages the keeper mounted on the jamb. It has a 7/8 in. low handle height. This reinforcement lock is very good quality. It was very easy to install, although I measured wrong the first time and had to move it.
