It is not as substantial as I had expected. It is represented as measuring 220 degrees but 180 would be a more accurate reflection. These shim plates are constructed of plastic and come gray in color. They feature a dual slotted mounting hole pattern that is designed to match the mounting holes of the spring-loaded strike plates used for latching hinged screen doors. These shim plates are used for adjusting the screen door strike plates closer to the latching hardware to provide a firm contact with the latch. These shims are 1/8 inch thick, 7/8 inch wide and 2-5/8 inch tall, and they come in quantities of 100 per pack. Shims like these are used by many to compensate for large gaps between the latching hardware of closed (hinged) screen doors, and they are easy to install.

These types of torsion garage springs replacement provide lifting force for heavy garage doors and must be selected by the spring’s dimensions, rather than the door’s weight. See the Product specifications found in Prime-Line’s Torsion Spring Selection Guide to assure that the proper replacement spring has been selected. Constructed of steel and finished in black with a tan painted end, this is a regular-duty garage spring with an estimated lifetime rating of 10,000 cycles. Right hand wind springs are mounted to the left of center (as viewed from the inside the garage looking out). When dual spring installations are involved, it is important to replace both springs. This replacement garage spring can cause serious injury if not handled and installed properly. The spring has a 0.207 inch wire size x 2 inch inside diameter x 22 inch overall length.
