My cockatiel's name is Angel and she has been with us for around 23 years or so. I recently had purchased a large cage for her but it was way too big and she stayed in one corner on a perch all the time. This cage seems more comforting for one bird, or two. A great product for the price. No real directions for assembly- just a few pictures. It has to be done in a specific order, so I had to disassemble and reassemble several time to get all the accessories on correctly. It was not difficult, but a bit frustrating. As other reviewers have commented, the picture shows the squirrel baffle much lower than is actually recommended. There is no way to fit all the attachments above the baffle and have them work well. I put the birdbath ring and one hanger below the baffle (plan to put a hummingbird feeder on the lower hook) so it will work for my purposes. I like the size of this resin birdbath. I like the overall look. I like that it simply twists in place together without the need for screws and hardware. I like the height of it. It comes with 3 little anchors but I found that these do barely anything to keep it actually in place (despite different placement options) as it just easily pulls right out of the ground, so I ended up using those 3, PLUS 4 of my own of a different style, and that hopefully holds up to the winds we can get in this area. Also, I don't know if the "Made In China" paint is safe for the birds, so hopefully it doesn't peel off easily or anything. My piece also came with a small defect on the pole. I was looking for birdbath bowl for front yard to tuck in the plants and provide a water source. I got the white/brown and it worked well. It is plastic but doesn't look cheap.
