i’ve had this cage for five years and It’s perfect for medium sized birds. The tray is removable which makes it super easy to clean. the grate above it is also removable and acts as the “floor. there are gates on the front and back, as well as some some small ones on the right and right side to put food and water bowls in easily. it’s also on wheels so even though it’s big it’s easy to move around. there’s also a small “shelf” underneath the cage part which makes it easy to store food and treats or toys.. We bought this addition for our ferrets house HOPING it was the right one to fit. It fit like a glove. Our ONLY complaint is that the front panel had the brackets (to attach it to our existing cage) welded on the top, so we had to install it upside down to make it work. The door swings on the left, not the right, which is backwards, but it works. We just turned the latching hardware around to make it lock "right". Thankfully we are handy enough to figure that out.. Great for international flights. Flew from Texas to Colombia, and back, with my 62lb dog and it met all the guidelines and held up well. This is the Extra Extra Large size It’s very secure once assembled with the bolts and wingnuts, and clamps, that enclose the perimeter of the crate. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas.
