We bought this addition for our ferrets house HOPING it was the right one to fit. It fit like a glove. Our ONLY complaint is that the front panel had the brackets (to attach it to our existing cage) welded on the top, so we had to install it upside down to make it work. The door swings on the left, not the right, which is backwards, but it works. We just turned the latching hardware around to make it lock "right". Thankfully we are handy enough to figure that out.. Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. This is a sturdy and well built stand. I got it for my Timneh and my Congo Grey parrots. It was delivered less than 24 hours after ordering. The tray was damaged but I used pliers to “fix” it.
