Oh boy! I hate to say it but this was a nightmare from start to finish. Between rainy weather in my area and trying to decipher the instructions, it was horrible. We couldnt really work on it like we wanted because of rain, and you literally spend more time trying to figure out the instructions rather than actually putting things together. Once we got the frame erect and secured to the ground it seemed sturdy enough. The next problem came from the panels. The panels would not stay in their slots, they kept popping out of place at the slightest wind. Right now they are held in place with tape. As others have said, the instructions are not easy to follow. Definitely read ahead. Some of the parts were difficult to put together and had to be bent back into shape, but that is expected with aluminum. Love this greenhouse. There is a lot of space inside and it holds heat very well which allows us to heat it and grow during the extra seasons. Overall the structure is decently solid for what can be expected and holds up well to stronger winds. The double doors make for a great feature that allow for getting in and out easier with larger items/plants. In addition to the double doors, there are 4 windows that open in the roof to help vent the structure with ease on hot days where the sun will over heat easily. A temperature sensor/alarm is great for warning of any overheat during the day or approaching cold temperatures at night. The Installation is rather long with hundreds of bolts/nuts to be fastened but the end result is worth it. Also it can be noted that some time will also be spent on a ladder for this process as well as you will need to purchase a decent amount of glue/silicone to seal in all the panels.. Tyler. Overall we are happy with this little greenhouse. It took about 8 hours for my husband to put together. I helped here and there when I was able. The directions aren’t great and some pieces didn’t match what was in the directions so we had to get creative. Once we put the supports in, it feels very sturdy- and it’s very warm. We were able to build it fairly easily BUT we had a few parts that were not the correct size. We are waiting for the manufacturer to contact us regarding replacement of the 2 roof vents which were about 6inches too short. One of the corner frames was too short by about an inch as well. we were able to make this work by drilling a different hole but it was incredibly frustrating to deal with. I think we were unlucky enough to get a box that had been previously opened. Many of the parts were dented, though not beyond use, and it was not really obvious that they were until we started putting the poly panels into the frames. If the manufacturer makes this right, by replacing the vents, I would probably give it 4 stars. I am very excited to have it completed and it is quite sizable. My husband is 6ft1 and is able to walk around the majority of the space without ducking. I am 5ft4 and can stand at the shortest side without ducking. Update!! I am in love with this greenhouse. When I first opened the box I got pretty overwhelmed with the assembly but one I got it going and took it one step at time it came together perfectly. It does contain a ton of parts. I put together on my own but it took many days. I build a paver base for this but keep in mind it’s pretty lightweight so be sure to anchor it down well and follow the placement directions from the book. While I was putting it together we had a very windy day and it did move around quite a bit so keep that in mind. They really thought of everything. We attached this to 4x4’s and filled with gravel. It is a sweet little place, but I do wish I’d picked a bigger one!! It does need to be caulked to keep the panels in place. First of all very difficult to read instructions. It came instead of being black with clear polycarbonate or came as green supports with white poly. Whole structure is very flimsy and even with it all together still not very sturdy. Took me 20 hours over 5 days to finally get it together. I just put it together over the weekend and I have not installed the door yet. My first impression was the wood was brittle and prone to cracking. The Automatic Vent Opener was designed to automatically control the temperature in all Canopia Greenhouses. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached. The vent arm was designed with the use of natural wax that expands as the air gets warmer, to push a piston that raises the window, then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring. The Automatic Vent Opener operates without the use of electricity.
