Overall we are happy with this little greenhouse. It took about 8 hours for my husband to put together. I helped here and there when I was able. The directions aren’t great and some pieces didn’t match what was in the directions so we had to get creative. Once we put the supports in, it feels very sturdy- and it’s very warm. So we have begun to assemble. It will look like a nice structure when completed. I like it BUT, It has horrible directions, making it painfully slow to assemble. Will need to use clear silicon to keep the ceiling from leaking, and possibly the sides as well. I will reinforce the structure in the corners and secure it to the ground (for hurricane/tornado season in Texas). Personally, I will choose to replace the strategic panels with clear plexiglass so I can see inside and through to the back, or look out, as the provided panels are 'frosted'.I hope the adjustments will render it as stable as I'd like because I am very happy with the size and it's cute.... I am in love with this greenhouse. When I first opened the box I got pretty overwhelmed with the assembly but one I got it going and took it one step at time it came together perfectly. It does contain a ton of parts. I put together on my own but it took many days. I build a paver base for this but keep in mind it’s pretty lightweight so be sure to anchor it down well and follow the placement directions from the book. While I was putting it together we had a very windy day and it did move around quite a bit so keep that in mind. They really thought of everything. I just put it together over the weekend and I have not installed the door yet. My first impression was the wood was brittle and prone to cracking. One of the window frames was cracked on delivery and I had to glue it together. I put it together by myself with some help from time to time. You have to be handy! Added this to the side of my house. I added pressurized wood to level bottom since my pad is sloped. Also added wood around the sides and top because the brickwork on the bottom prevents greenhouse from being flush against siding. The Victorian Greenhouse is perfect for me. Very well made and ease of use made it a wonderful choice. The vents open easily and both doors open and lock with minimal effort. I have plenty of room to start seeds and store all the supplies that are needed. We placed it on a concrete pad and anchored it down with the anchors supplied. We had harsh winds a couple of weeks later with no damage to the greenhouse. I waited a long time for a greenhouse and did a lot of research before choosing Vego. I definitely made the right choice.. I waited until the first severe windstorm to see how it held up before writing this review. It did great! I have it bolted directly into my porch, mind you. As others have stated, assembling this is a trip to the 7th circle of hell. It took me and two other people 5 days to put this together. The instructions are very poor, things not labelled properly, some steps are backwards, some of the pieces just don't fit together quite right, you'll get part way through and then realize you put something on upside down without realising it (because it's not labelled) and then have to backtrack several steps, and so on. The Automatic Vent Opener was designed to automatically control the temperature in all Canopia Greenhouses. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached. The vent arm was designed with the use of natural wax that expands as the air gets warmer, to push a piston that raises the window, then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring. The Automatic Vent Opener operates without the use of electricity.
