We recommend ordering at least 5% over your needed square footage to account for any custom cuts. While pine is categorized as a softwood, it is strong, light weight, resistant to shrinking and swelling, and easily accepts and holds stains and paints. Pine wood offers a rustic look with natural feel that can be used for country, rustic, colonial and cottage styles.
