I was searching for a stool with backrest that was also lightweight and to my surprise it was quite hard to find. Stumbled upon this one and decided to take a chance and purchase. The extendable desk arm can be placed on either side of the vanity the only downgrade to this is that in installing the screws the assembly metal bolts begin to come out the other side as pictured. These chairs are good for what I need them for which is kid’s seating when my nieces and nephews visit. The back is so short that if an adult uses it the back rest kind of digs into your spine if you relax. They could be good for game nights where you sit more upright.
