Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. Our house was built in the early 1980's, and apparently the builders were oblivious to the fact that a future homeowner just might want to put a recessed medicine cabinet in that spot over the vanity sink. This is a new pic but I’ve had the umbrella over a year. This umbrella has treated me extremely well. I think its treated me better than I’ve treated IT. My recommendations overtime.. keep it in the lowered closed position when not using. I kept it in the horizontal position and open for days at a time. And it’s STILL good.
