My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I added mesh wiring instead. The enclosure is 3 sided and backs up to the wall which works perfectly fine in our case as it gives us access to open and close our windows and shutters.. Arb65. Ca-usa. It’s nice. Quality is good not the greatest some parts came dented (wood and cage material) but overall good quality. Sooooo many screws to put together so get your drill ready took three people for us to build but definitely minimum is two. We reinforced the platforms with extra screws and few other areas. Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. It looks nice and is perfect for what I need! But the screws for the box need to be longer. I had two come out within minutes of putting them in. Tough review to write. It was a lot of work to assemble. Many hours. I had to buy extra chicken wire and zip ties. But I think it's great. In the yard, I could have staked it, but on the deck, I'm using landscape bricks at the four corners - my patio table with an umbrella has blown away in high winds. But the roof is easy to remove if I know strong winds are coming. I think it's plenty sturdy, it should last years compared to the cat tents we've gone through. Other than that I would say this item is what it says and if I can have my pet outside safely with me enjoying the weather without worry, I would hope that you would be able to as well. This cage has changed Paninis and my life for the better. He has medical issues and needed to be activity restricted for a long time. I upgraded from a cat tent to this. I ended up buying another cage set to make bigger, more complex cages. It is highly customizable to whatever space you have and your needs within. I recommend buying heavy-duty zipties and creating designs built with lots of support (walls, and the support squares). Seriously, if you think you used enough zipties, you could use more, lol. This thing does not budge if you do. It is a pain to clean or rearrangebuild. I find it time well spent for the flexibility this cage gives. Panini no longer needs to be locked in here, but chooses to hang out in it, and my other cat, Panda, loves to go in as well! It is also helpful to separate them for meal time as well ).. Kimi. Great catio but takes forever to put together. Had a very strong smell when we took the various parts out of the box but the smell has gone away now that we've placed it outside.
