I'm overall happy with the cooling power of the fan though you definitely get what you pay for here. The paper filter definitely has a wet paper smell during the first use but that goes away. I added some essential oil to the water and now it smells great every time. Overall it's functional and easy to use, clean, and store when you don't need it. Only true downside, it isn't as quiet on the whisper low setting as I was expecting. It's not terrible, but it is noticeable if it's as closely by you as instructed for optimal cooling.. Bridget. This is a great fan! It is rechargeable and it holds the charge for quite some time. I used it for three hours by the pool with no problem. It had three speeds and can easily be mounted to anything using the flexible arms. The top portion also rotates so you can change the angle to any direction.
