Bought this for our back patio and I’m happy with it! We’ve only used it once, and it wasn’t a big fire so it’s a little hard to say if there was a difference in the smoke experience. The size is perfect for a standard 55 gallon drum. It did peel the paint and dented in a little during the first use. However, it did not get worse and still works fine.
