Just because it’s easy doesn’t make a job well done any less special. The drop-in Jackson Fireclay kitchen sink offers an easy DIY installation with high-end beauty. But it also offers function: the large single bowl ensures maximum workspace for cleaning bulky or oversized dishes. Our ultra-durable and dense fireclay is fired up to 2100°F and protected with our proprietary finish that safeguards and adds strength.

An attractive sink at a good price. This is a fireclay sink, which means it is fired at a lower temperature than a porcelain sink, but at a higher temperature than a ceramic sink. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well..
