This tarp works great to filter our hot and very bright Arizona sun. We have to very large German Shepards dogs that have a huge pen where they like to relax and play during the day. Half of their pen is shaded with heavy duty tarp. During the hot sunny days they lose half their space. We installed tis tarp on the other half and it works great as an additional shaded area for our furry kids. It really does cut down te heat considerably. This tarp will work for just about any area you want shaded. I wish all our 5 acres were covered in this material. I was a bit concerned when I purchased 2 sets of the Eddie Bauer 100%flannel full size, sheet sets because of the low price. Upon receiving them they were packaged as a present with a lovely ribbon. These sheets were discounted because they were leftover holiday patterns. I chose the blue and white plaid and the pine cone patterns. Washed them and put then on the bed. They are absolutely the softest and most comfortable sheets I can ever remember using. Last night was the fist night using them, now I can't wait to crawl into bed . My husband likes them also.
