Yay!!! Before lamp arrived I saw a similar lamp in retail store but not as stylish. I thought it could do, plus it was a lot less . However, once I put this lamp together I knew nothing else would have worked as well. It’s a nice mild toned brushed gold. The base very heavy, the on off switch is actually clear and it is very easy to push button with a touch of your foot. Biggest yay is the condensed or (petiteness) of the arm angle so lamp fit nicely in a tight spot, this in turn gave the little area a great look.
